Leakage prevention and control measures during the installation and installation of aluminum doors and windows
a) The standard clearance around the door and window and the wall of the hole should be controlled between 25mm-40mm, the maximum size should not exceed 50mm, the minimum should be no less than 20mm, the window frame and the outer wall surface have a certain distance, otherwise fine stone concrete should be used. After pouring and trimming, it can be installed and constructed. It is strictly forbidden to use inferior masonry, such as sintered mud brick or mortar.
b) According to the engineering situation, the cement mortar filling method is used reasonably. First, the mortar is filled in the aluminum cavity and then installed on the wall and filled twice. Secondly, the aluminum frame is fixed and then filled with mortar. The two methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. The first method can ensure that there is no empty drum in the aluminum cavity, but it is easy to produce cracks and water leakage during secondary filling. The second method is easy to avoid on the lower frame and both sides. Filling with dissatisfaction and forming an empty drum phenomenon;
c) Cement mortar filling should control the mixing ratio of cement mortar, generally 1:2.5, to ensure the quality of cement mortar. It is recommended to add waterproofing agent to cement mortar to improve the anti-leakage performance of cement mortar, pay attention to curing and avoid cracking;
d) Within the range of 300mm on the outer wall surface around the door and window frame, add two waterproof coatings to reduce the chance of rainwater leakage;
e) The air guiding surface or the rain washing surface is to prevent the rainwater from seeping through the filling material between the door and the window, and properly consider the water stop baffle or other waterproof coating film to increase the impermeability;
f) There should be a glue injection groove at the junction of the window frame, the width is 5-8mm. When inserting the sealing material, pay attention to remove the floating ash, mortar, etc., so that the sealing material is firmly bonded to the window frame and the wall. At the same time, check whether the sealing material is continuous, whether there is any leakage, etc., especially whether there are capillary holes in the corner intersection position; more than two seals should be used on the outer wall of the veneer brick to avoid capillary water penetration of the joint seam;
g) The adjustment block is forbidden to remain in the door and window frame. After dismantling, the secondary filling and compaction should be carried out in time. The filling should pay attention to the reliable bonding with the substrate. The substrate should be wet except for removing the residue.
h) The outdoor window sill should be lower than the indoor window sill 20mm, and set up the slope, the rain water discharge is smooth, to avoid the penetration of water. The aluminum doors and windows should have a certain distance from the outer wall to avoid direct washing of rain.
i) The material, specification and connection method of the door and window joints shall comply with the requirements of the local “Aluminum Door and Window Technical Regulations”, and the anchors shall be sealed with mortar or mortar in time to avoid the movement under the wind load and the cracks in the sealing material.
